More on Neuropower

by paul on February 26, 2008

Author Peter Burow teaches you how to use this insight and to harness your Neuro-Power by applying the four Neuro-Power maxims.

The whole field of neuroscience has exploded in the last decade. The application of non-linear complexity theory and technical advances, such as brain imaging, have provided neurobiologists with new insights into how the mind develops and operates.

For example, neurobiologists have found that the brain is comprised of many interdependent systems. Neurobiology itself is defined as the study of cells of the nervous system and the organisation of these cells into interdependent systems of functional circuits that process information and mediate behaviour (Shepard, 1994). Neuro-Power describes six such functional circuits, referred to throughout this text as Intelligence Centres (ICs). These functional circuits have distinct focuses of attention, distinctive word usage and specific emotions which give rise to very clear behavioural patterns. Neuro-Power provides the link between these six functional circuits and the various manifestations of adult personality.

New Book by Peter Burow uses the HOS framework

by paul on February 26, 2008

Do you ever wonder what makes you tick?

Do you ever muse over what is going on inside your brain that gives you a sense of individuality both intellectually and emotionally?

And even though you personally may make perfect sense, what about everyone else?

Well, the good news is that we are beginning to understand the inner workings of the most mysterious organ in the body and perhaps the universe – the human brain. We can do this because of the latest breakthroughs in brain imaging technology and neuro-science. We are discovering Neuro-Power.

Learn how to harness your Neuro-Power by discovering the link between neurobiology, consciousness, quantum theory, philosophy and personality. Made possible by the recent advances in brain imaging, author Peter Burow outlines how the six neuro building blocks of personality enable us to live, learn and create lives of purpose. He explains how these six functional systems underpin the limbic and rational aspects of our decision-making and enable us to navigate our way through our modern lives.

Neuro-Power uses the Human Operating System (HOS tm) framework to explain complex issues of the mind in a structured way that successfully integrates historically siloed and often seemingly contradictory schools of thought.

Neuro-Power offers a deeper understanding of yourself and others, and fresh insights into some of the great human mysteries of life.

HOS and Integral Theory

February 16, 2007

HOS aligns with integral theory as outlined by Ken Wilber, and the levels of complexity model outlined by Cowan and Beck in Spiral Dynamics (1996).

HOS augments Wilber’s integral framework in three ways: Firstly, it personalises the Four Faces of Truth, which enables each reader to not only identify from which quadrant they naturally see [...]

Final Word on Patrons

February 5, 2007

Patrons are extraordinary.
They are amazingly rounded, practical, loving and enthusiastic human beings who change the experience we have of life. They do this by accessing may lifetimes of wisdom tied up in their limbic profiles and by dedicating their conscious efforts to being present and to dissolving problems in duality to non-dual issues. For most [...]

The Four Levels of the Implicit Paradox

The Four Levels of the Implicit Paradox
Each of the four Patrons has a specific implicit paradox that dissolves when they reach the Patron State. But the process doesn’t end there. The resolution of the one paradox, at each meme makes way for another. This after all is what drives human evolution and the deep desire [...]
